School Visits
I offer engaging school visits for grades K–2 that run 45–60 minutes and bring Sammy, The Flying Purple Baby Elephant to life through storytelling, creativity, and interactive fun. My goal is to help children reflect on friendship, presence, and the importance of putting down our screens and connecting with each other.
Each visit includes:
- A live reading of Sammy, The Flying Purple Baby Elephant, a story that gently explores the challenges of excessive smartphone use in families.
- Interactive discussion where I ask questions during and after the reading to deepen student engagement.
- Q&A session with students and teachers about my experience as both an author and an illustrator.
- A fun character appearance featuring Sammy the Flying Purple Baby Elephant Puppet, who interacts playfully with the children.

Classroom Visit
$150 per class (approximately 30 students)
Assemblies & Grouped Sessions
Assembly pricing is available for larger groups to allow schools to reach more students at a lower per-student cost. Typical assembly pricing ranges from $225–$325, depending on group size.
Book Orders for Schools
Schools may choose to order copies of Sammy the Flying Purple Baby Elephant for students or classrooms. I offer special bulk pricing for schools, separate from retail pricing, to keep orders simple and affordable.
Bulk pricing is available for:
- 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, or 120 copies
- Paperback and hardcover editions
Once the visit format and student count are confirmed I will provide a fillable book order form and an invoice for review by the school or PTA.
